 Location
The Bargeman's Rest is right next to
Newport's Little London Quay, which is the highest navigable point of the
River Medina.
From Coppin's Bridge round-about take
the road for Cowes and then come off at the first exit immediately
afterwards. At the round-about in front of Curry's turn right and
then turn right again under the bridge. Bare left at the next mini
round-about and you go past some car showrooms. Take the first right
to bring you down onto the waterfront and turn right again. There is
parking in front of the pub.
The picture on the right shows the location of
the Bargeman's Rest near the centre of Newport. The River Median can
be seen flowing North into the Solent.
