Open all day Monday-Saturday 10:30am to 11:00pm, Sunday to 10.30pm.

Our full menu is available all day throughout the year. Served from 12 noon to 9:30pm and 9pm Sunday. Breakfasts now being served from 10.30am.

We are very happy to take table reservations. However please enquire about functions at certain times of year.

We take all major credit cards (minimum transaction £10) but regret we cannot accept American Express, Diners Card or cheques.

Well behaved dogs and muddy boots welcome!

The Bargeman’s Rest is one of Newports few Free Houses, sitting right on the River Medina in the heart of the capital town.

We are open all day everyday, serving fine Wines & real ales. Food served from 12pm – 9pm.
